Job summary

McCay Tool + Engineering, Inc is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe and Mill Machinist for the second shift (3-11:30pm) in an aerospace manufacturing environment in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on setting up CNC lathes and mills, selecting fixtures and tools, and producing precision parts per blueprints.

The ideal candidate has CNC experience, GD&T knowledge, and familiarity with micrometers and calipers, with an emphasis on quality and safety while meeting production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Apprenticeship or formal training preferred.
• On-the-job experience in CNC milling/turning advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes and/or mills per blueprint specs.
• Select and align fixturing, tools, and attachments.
• Machine parts per blueprint specs and adjust programs.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure tolerances.
• Meet production schedules and follow safety rules.
