Job summary

NMG Aerospace is seeking a CNC Machinist Lathe for the Aerospace Manufacturing team on 1st or 2nd shift in Tempe, AZ. You will set up machines and machine complex parts with close tolerances using CNC Lathe and CNC Mill under minimal supervision.

Hours are Monday through Thursday, 2:00 pm to 12:00 am. You will establish origins, inspect parts, verify against blueprints, and document results in ERP systems while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years CNC machining experience in a regulated industry, aerospace preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and set up CNC machines with attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up tooling and fixtures on CNC Lathe and CNC Mill per engineering drawings.
• Establish machine origins and machine first parts to blueprint requirements.
• Inspect parts, verify tolerances, and document results in ERP.
• Maintain safety standards and housekeeping during production.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to ensure spec conformance.
• Provide support for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
