The ideal candidate has 5+ years in precision machining, strong Fanuc controls expertise, and experience with CAM software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years in advanced manufacturing, precision machining.
- Expert knowledge of Fanuc controls and CNC programming.
- Experience with ESPRIT CAM software; other CAM tools acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Develop CNC programs (G-code) for multi-axis lathes and VMCs.
- Collaborate with Engineering to define tooling, work-holding, and setups.
- Document selections in ESPRIT tooling libraries and datasheets.
- Optimize programs across part families using macros and parametric methods.
- Set up and run production during initial process development.
- Train production staff for mass production reproducibility.
- Manage programs and setup data in PDM/DNC systems.
- Support lean initiatives to improve productivity and quality.
