Job summary

Heads Up Technologies is seeking a motivated assembler to join our Addison, TX manufacturing team. You will assemble product lines such as Cabin Display Monitors, Servers, and Button Switches, following instructions and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly.

You will test and inspect units for quality and function, operate tools safely, and document material usage and quality data. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams and participate in continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience assembling electronic components in manufacturing/production.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Attention to detail with emphasis on precision and quality.
• Proficiency with hand tools and inspection instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
• Technical or vocational training in electronics or manufacturing techniques.
• Experience in aerospace, aviation, electronics, or high-reliability manufacturing environments.
• Experience performing visual inspections and functional testing of assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product lines such as Cabin Display Monitors, Servers, and Button Switches.
• Follow assembly instructions, drawings, and diagrams for accurate placement and assembly.
• Inspect and test assemblies for quality, function, and specifications.
• Operate assembly equipment safely and maintain readiness.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain production records, material usage, and quality data.
• Adhere to safety policies and manufacturing best practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the floor.
• Be flexible to work across other cells on the production floor.
