Job summary

Unison, part of GE Aerospace, is hiring at its Dayton, OH site to support turbine starter manufacturing. You will perform CMO operations in an assigned cell using pneumatic and hand tools, verify calibration, and maintain 5S housekeeping while following blueprints and work instructions.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of related manufacturing experience, with willingness to undergo CVP certification and participate in the MRO drug-free program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of manufacturing related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform CMO operations in assigned cell using pneumatic and hand tools and calibrated gauges.
• Operate machines in a prescribed safe manner and perform daily preventative maintenance.
• Verify calibration and maintain 5S housekeeping.
• Review work instructions, specifications and blueprints to perform manufacturing operations.
• Ensure all company paperwork is filled-out accurately and meet production goals.
• Cross train and work under general direction in a team environment and follow Lean Manufacturing guidelines.
