Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Computerized Machine Operator (CMO) at our Beavercreek, OH site. You will set up and operate advanced machining equipment to produce turbine-related components, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires basic blueprint reading, measurement using calipers and micrometers, and the ability to work across multiple stations with cross-training. OSHA-grade safety and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• At least 6 months of manufacturing, mechanical, or technical trades experience
• Experience using manual calipers for precise dimensional inspections
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with/without assistance, stand up to 8 hours
• Role may include shifts beyond standard workweek; must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing work with emphasis on safety, quality, and critical aircraft parts
• Set up, operate, edit, and program computerized machines to meet specs
• Test tooling and dies; evaluate and modify for quality and throughput
• Perform preventive maintenance and verify calibration of tools and equipment
• Operate machines following safety rules and standard work; cross-train in all cell areas
• Train others on standard work and machine operation as needed
• Use computer daily to access/view/download shop drawings and setup files
• Assist in other areas as directed by People Leader
