Job summary

Verus Aerospace is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect finished and in-process parts and assemblies, ensuring they meet customer requirements before delivery.

The role involves evaluating drawings, planning reports, and vendor-supplied materials, with emphasis on NCRs, traceability, and AS9100-aligned processes. The candidate will work in a fast-paced aerospace environment, emphasizing safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have strong reading of plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with first article inspections and documentation.
• Knowledge of AS9100 or similar quality systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished or in-process parts and assemblies for acceptance or rejection.
• Inspect purchased parts and materials as received from vendors or subcontractors.
• Review engineering documents and drawings to determine product parameters.
• Ensure documentation completeness and traceability per quality system requirements.
• Generate NCRs and assist root cause analysis and corrective actions.
