Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an experienced inspector to determine quality and usability of complex parts with a wide range of measurement tools. The role requires independent judgment and accurate documentation of acceptance results.

With strong emphasis on CMM operations, blueprint interpretation, and adherence to military standards, you will train others and contribute to continuous improvement within a high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 6-8 years related inspection experience.
• Able to implement and effectively apply lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
• Able to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participates in goal setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.
• Must be able to pass required vision exam.
• Required experience in CMM operations, background in dimensioning and tolerancing per ANSI Y 14.5.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, customer’s specifications and internal drawings and procedures. Able to interpret drawings and electronic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate acceptance and rejection records and/or certifications systems as required by specifications.
• Determine acceptance or rejection after inspection/calibration of parts and document results.
• Lead or train lower level personnel and certified operators in inspections.
• Perform first article, envelope, source, and complex surface plate set-ups.
• Develop complex inspection setups for sample parts, forgings, and castings.
