ReLogic Research in Huntsville, AL seeks a technically sharp CMM Programmer and Quality Inspector. You will program and operate Zeiss CMMs, develop inspection routines, and translate complex drawings into accurate data packages.

You will read GD&T per ASME Y14.5, generate inspection reports, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve non-conformances. This is a hands-on, full-time role with strong growth potential.

Formación

• Hands-on experience programming and operating CMMs in a manufacturing or inspection setting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience using precision hand measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Experience generating inspection reports and dimensional data packages.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizen able to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Program, set up, and operate Zeiss coordinate measuring machines to inspect precision aerospace components and assemblies.
• Develop, validate, and optimize CMM inspection programs from engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements.
• Perform dimensional inspections for first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Use precision hand measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges for incoming and in-process inspection activities.
• Generate clear, accurate inspection reports and dimensional data packages for internal and customer use.
• Support First Article Inspection documentation in accordance with AS9102.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements per ASME Y14.5 to define inspection strategy and measurement approach.
• Maintain CMM equipment including calibration coordination and routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve dimensional non-conformances.
