Job summary

Accelera in Mountain Home, PA is seeking a dedicated CMM Operator to program and verify precision parts for aerospace applications. You will analyze blueprints, GD&T, and CAD data to ensure parts meet design intent and quality standards.

You will develop, refine, and troubleshoot CMM programs using Calypso, perform dimensional checks with hand tools, and maintain thorough inspection records for FAIRs and customer reports.

Qualifications

• 1 year of practical experience in CMM programming or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience using precision measurement instruments and inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Configure, program, and run CMM inspections per first-article, in-process, and final checks.
• Analyze blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T to verify design intent.
• Develop and troubleshoot CMM programs with Calypso to improve efficiency.
• Conduct dimensional checks using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and generate FAIRs and customer reports.
• Report nonconformances and support root-cause investigations.
• Manage calibration logs and uphold quality systems and safety protocols.
• Mentor operators on measurement techniques to raise team capability.
