Job summary

Accelera in Park City, KS is seeking a dedicated CMM Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis. You will uphold high precision standards, operate Coordinate Measuring Machines, and work with CAD/CATIA to verify parts against blueprints while collaborating with production and engineering staff.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, experience with CMMs in production, knowledge of GD&T, and a strong analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or a GED; a technical certification or degree in quality assurance or machining is beneficial.
• Execute the full scope of duties expected of a Level II QA Inspector.
• Demonstrated background in utilizing CMM equipment within a production setting.
• Solid grasp of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
• Skilled at deciphering complex technical specifications and diagrams.
• Strong analytical mindset and an exceptional focus on precision.
• Capable of functioning effectively both autonomously and as a collaborative team member.
• Experience with data analysis and quality management software is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Configure and run Coordinate Measuring Machines to verify the integrity of diverse parts.
• Create technical illustrations utilizing CAD software or CATIA.
• Analyze engineering blueprints to guarantee all products meet established quality benchmarks.
• Perform routine upkeep and calibration on CMM hardware to help maintain peak operational efficiency.
• Record all inspection data to ensure comprehensive and precise measurement logs.
• Work alongside production and engineering staff to pinpoint and rectify quality-related challenges.
• Support the onboarding of incoming staff by sharing expertise on CMM procedures and standard operations.
• Promote a secure workplace by following all safety guidelines and keeping your station tidy.
