Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is seeking a talented CMM Operator to inspect aerospace parts in conformance with work instructions and customer specs. This second shift role runs Mon-Fri 3:00 pm–11:30 pm with overtime opportunities at a FAA-regulated facility.

You will set up and operate CMMs, log results, and communicate part status within the quality team. Requires a HS diploma/GED with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with a minimum of 1-year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other measuring instruments.
• Set-up and operate CMM to calibrate/test equipment and inspect customer parts.
• Log and communicate results and any out-of-spec parts.
• Plan daily work to meet company and customer commitments.
• Communicate part status within and outside the quality department.
• Assist with resolving operational, quality, and maintenance issues.
• Report equipment maintenance issues to responsible personnel.
• Notify shifts of problems and steps toward resolution.
• Work in a team to accomplish tasks and support continuous improvement.
