Job summary

Primus Aerospace is seeking a CMM Operator to support the 3rd shift in our quality team. This role involves setting up and operating Zeiss CMMs to inspect precision aerospace components, executing inspection programs, and ensuring conformance to drawings and customer specifications.

The operator will perform FAI, in-process, and final inspections, analyze results, and communicate nonconformities. CMM programming is not required; overtime may be needed to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• Experience with Zeiss CMM setup/operation.
• Strong GD&T interpretation and measurement skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD models.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Zeiss CMMs to inspect aerospace components.
• Run established inspection programs and verify conformance to drawings.
• Perform First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections per requirements.
• Prepare inspection reports and document nonconformities.
