Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a dedicated technician to perform precision cleaning and inspection of aerospace hardware for spaceflight systems. You will contribute to engine production quality and work within a diverse team of specialists, technicians, and engineers.

Role requires strong attention to detail, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and experience with chemical/solvent processes. Safety and quality are paramount in this hands-on role at Blue Origin.

Qualifications

• Experience with fluid systems and applied chemistry fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving drive.
• Ability to lift items to 40 lbs and operate lifting equipment.
• Ability to follow directions and meet expectations.
• Good communication skills and proficiency with MS Office and databases.

Responsibilities

• Clean and passivate hardware using chemical and mechanical methods.
• Safely handle hardware with lifting equipment.
• Analyze CPV Lab solvent/chemical systems and correct as needed.
• Inspect hardware using visual, UV, borescope, and high-precision weighing methods.
• Package hardware for storage or shipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of CPV Lab and Clean Room areas.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE.
