Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Technician in the Greater Seattle Area to perform precision cleaning and inspection of aerospace hardware for spaceflight systems. You will work on fluid systems, cleaning, passivation, and quality control while supporting safe, repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities include using diverse cleaning techniques, handling heavy hardware, and performing precise inspections with various tools. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with fluid systems and applied chemistry fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and passivate hardware using chemical and mechanical methods.
• Safely handle hardware with cranes/hoists and related equipment.
• Use measurement methods to analyze CPV Lab solvent systems and correct issues.
• Inspect hardware with visual, UV, borescope, and precision weighing techniques.
• Package hardware for storage/shipment and perform routine lab maintenance.
