Blue Origin LLC in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Technician for our Clean Room to clean, inspect, and passivate aerospace hardware using solvent and precision methods. You will handle hardware with cranes, perform CPV Lab analyses, and ensure strict safety and cleanliness protocols.

The role requires experience with fluid systems and applied chemistry, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and strong communication skills. Team collaboration, documentation, and routine equipment calibration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with fluid systems and applied chemistry fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail and drive to resolve technical issues.
• Ability to lift items up to 40 lbs and operate lifting equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Interface with software systems and databases, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Clean and passivate hardware using solvent/chemical, mechanical, ultrasonic, and precision cleaning methods.
• Safely handle hardware using overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
• Use titration and other direct measurement methods to analyze CPV Lab solvent/chemical systems.
• Use laser systems to identify features on hardware per documentation.
• Inspect hardware using visual, UV light, borescope, microscopic particle count, and high-precision weighing methods.
• Package hardware for storage or shipment.
• Calibrate equipment such as pumps, tanks, filtration systems, scales.
• Maintain housekeeping of CPV Lab and Certified Clean Room area.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE.
