Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a skilled technician to join our operations team, performing precision cleaning and inspection of aerospace hardware for spaceflight systems. You will contribute to engine production as part of a diverse team of specialists and engineers, applying technical leadership and a strong commitment to quality in a safety-first environment.

The role involves handling heavy hardware, operating in a CPV Lab and Clean Room, and maintaining equipment while following strict safety

Qualifications

• Experience working on fluid systems with applied chemistry fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail and drive to resolve technical issues.
• Good written and verbal communication and ability to interface with software systems.

Responsibilities

• Clean and passivate hardware using solvent/chemical, mechanical and precision methods.
• Safely handle hardware with overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
• Use lab methods to analyze CPV solvent/chemical systems and correct issues.
• Inspect hardware with visual, UV, borescope, and high-precision weighing methods.
• Perform basic shop maintenance and calibrations of equipment.
