Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) Euclid is seeking a Process Engineer to join a leading investment casting foundry focused on aerospace components. You will work on developing and improving casting processes and tooling to support growth in aerospace and industrial markets.

You will learn best-practice casting methods, apply structured problem-solving, and contribute to continuous improvement projects that affect quality, yield, and cost.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related technical field required.
• 0-5 years' experience in mechanical or product engineering in investment casting industry preferred.
• Experience with interpreting customer drawings and DFS/SX casting knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer specifications to establish internal written NDT specifications.
• Develop the overall metallurgical casting process from gate design to casting parameters.
• Assess metal structure and distribution in DS/SX systems.
• Investigate metallurgical failures using root cause analysis.
• Publish data-based reports on research and tests.
• Identify and improve process yields using data analysis techniques (statistical, DOE, 6-Sigma).
• Document procedures and ensure repeatability of results.
• Audit production lots for adherence to techniques and quality.
