Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) Euclid is seeking an Engineering Co-Op to support New Product Development and Production Engineering initiatives. Co-ops will collaborate with manufacturing to develop robust processes and tooling for aerospace investment casting markets, focusing on dimensional control, dies, gages, and related tooling.

Engineers will perform root-cause analysis using PDCA and Six-Sigma tools, with occasional leadership in cross-functional problem solving.

Qualifications

• Working on a BS in Engineering is required; junior or senior year preferred.
• Strong communication (written and verbal), PC skills, and program management skills.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Motivated with data-driven problem solving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and teach best practice investment casting procedures.
• Construct dies (shrink factor analysis), gages and support tooling.
• Interface with tooling vendors and CPP purchasing to balance quality and cost.
• Identify process yields using data analysis techniques (statistical, DOE, 6 Sigma).
• Interpret GD&T, CAD/NX models and layout reports.
• Draft internal job instructions with clear communication.
• Identify, evaluate and implement new process technologies.
• Collaborate with departments to achieve company objectives.
• Routinely audit production lots for repeatability and adherence.
