Job summary

Express Employment North Hollywood is seeking an experienced Cadmium Plating Specialist to join our aerospace manufacturing team, part-time or full-time. The ideal candidate will have hands-on cadmium plating expertise and familiarity with NADCAP requirements and FAA-regulated production parts.

You will monitor plating baths and equipment, interpret drawings and specifications, and maintain traceability for aerospace compliance while following safety and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of cadmium plating experience (aerospace preferred).
• Strong knowledge of NADCAP and FAA regulations.
• Experience with production parts and MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) work.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with ASTM, AMS, and MIL plating standards is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform cadmium plating on aerospace components in compliance with NADCAP standards
• Process FAA production parts and overhaul components to required specifications
• Monitor plating baths, chemistry, and equipment to ensure quality and consistency
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Maintain proper documentation and traceability for aerospace compliance
• Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to quality control procedures
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines
