Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a CAD Designer to create and maintain detailed 3D models and drawings for aerospace and industrial applications. You will develop tooling, fixtures, molds, and manufacturing aids, while maintaining BOMs and revision-controlled packages.

You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and metrology teams to translate requirements into manufacturable designs, support rapid NPI, and drive producibility improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of CAD design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD software, such as SolidWorks and/or NX.
• Experience creating detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with GD&T standards.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and producibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
• Design tooling, fixtures, molds, and manufacturing aids for aerospace and industrial applications.
• Create and maintain BOMs, drawings, and revision-controlled design packages.
• Support Design for Manufacturing and Design for Additive Manufacturing reviews.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering teams to optimize designs.
