Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Goleta, CA is seeking a Cable & Harness Technician – Level 2 or 3 to join our aerospace team. The role focuses on harnessing and related electrical assemblies for government and commercial programs, with a 2nd shift (12:00 pm - 9:30 pm) and a 5% shift differential.

Responsibilities include reviewing data for traceability, interpreting schematics, testing electrical continuity, routing harnesses on flight hardware, and collaborating with engineers to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and schematics.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and complete paperwork and data for hardware assemblies.
• Work with electrical harness assemblies, interpret schematics, perform tests (continuity, insulation resistance).
• Route wiring harnesses on flight hardware and follow engineer guidance to develop processes.
• Soldering, wire stripping, crimping, harness routing, and applying coatings where needed.
