Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Harness Designer (Level 3 or 4) to join the Space Sector in Dulles, VA. You will create wire harness drawings, 3-D harness models, and related documentation, ensuring compatibility with standards and customer requirements.

The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex requirements in a high-pressure environment. Onsite work schedule applies, with travel up to 10% and a 9/80 work pattern.

Responsibilities

• Support development of total harness modeling product including 3-D modeling and space claims.
• Ensure models and drawings meet department standards and customer requirements.
• Translate customer requirements into total harness subsystem solutions considering constraints.
• Support planning, system integration, verification and validation for total harness spacecraft design.
