Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Oxnard facility is seeking a Manufacturing Harnessing Technician with aerospace experience to work on electrical harness assemblies and related testing. You will read schematics, build compliant assemblies, and conduct continuity and insulation resistance tests.

Responsibilities include routing wiring on flight hardware, following drawings, and collaborating with engineers to optimize processes while performing soldering and coating operations with epoxy or silicone materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with related experience or training.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and schematics.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds and be on feet for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, and different shifts.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and maintain paperwork and electronic data for hardware assemblies to ensure traceability.
• Work with electrical harness assemblies, interpret schematics, build compliant assemblies, and perform continuity and insulation resistance tests.
• Route wiring harnesses on flight hardware and follow procedures and drawings; collaborate with engineers to optimize processes.
• Perform soldering, wire stripping, crimping, harness routing, and apply coatings using epoxy/silicone.
• Operate with force/torque tools and support complex harnesses and mechanical structures.
