COMLUX AMERICA LLC in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking a Buyer to independently manage procurement for MRO, aircraft completion, and production operations. You will handle supplier relationships, place purchase orders, and monitor delivery, quality, and cost performance.

The role requires negotiating terms, expediting critical materials, resolving supplier issues, and documenting savings. A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business, or related field plus 3+ years of purchasing

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated experience managing suppliers, purchase orders, delivery commitments, and pricing negotiations.
• Experience with ERP, purchasing, inventory, or supply-chain management systems.
• Ability to analyze pricing, lead times, supplier performance, and purchasing data.

Aufgaben

• Independently reviews purchasing requirements and places purchase orders in line with priorities and approved suppliers.
• Manages supplier relationships and monitors performance related to delivery, quality, and service.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery commitments, payment terms, and other routine requirements within authority.
• Expedite critical materials and coordinate recovery plans with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Identify supply disruptions and develop solutions to minimize impact on schedules.
• Support supplier qualification, evaluation, and ongoing performance reviews.
• Document and report purchasing savings, cost avoidance, and supplier performance.
