Job summary

Sonfarrel Aerospace in Anaheim, CA, is seeking an Insert Prep / Bonding associate to read and follow detailed bonding instructions and prep procedures for manufacturing.

The role involves material prepping, masking, degreasing, and proper handling of substrates, with emphasis on safety, housekeeping, and teamwork. You will monitor processes, support continuous improvements, and input data into Industrios while adhering to aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and comprehend English instructions.
• Capable of using mechanical measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges).
• Able to prioritize multiple assignments and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prep metals, plastics and other materials for bonding.
• Masking to protect surfaces during sandblasting or abrading.
• Degrease and clean materials to be bonded.
• Handle cleaned or prepped substrates properly.
• Store solvents properly and maintain safe workspace.
• Monitor process conditions to improve yield.
• Train or assist new employees as needed.
• Input daily production data into Industrios.
