Job summary

Textron’s Bell division seeks a Material Bonder B on 1st shift to prepare aircraft parts for bonding, align components from drawings, and apply bonding agents per standard procedures. The role includes finishing steps, basic rework, and verification of process travelers and related forms.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months’ experience performing work similar to the described tasks or six months’ experience in related Bell classifications is required.
• Completion of Advanced Composite Fabrication Course (T220) is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft parts for bonding according to standard procedures.
• Assemble, locate, and align parts using blueprints or drawings.
• Mix bonding agents and apply per procedures; make up pressure bags and seal edges as needed.
• Perform minor rework, fitting or trimming; use jigs and fixtures for precise finishes.
• Verify operations using travelers, MDARs, and other forms to ensure all steps are completed.
