Janicki Industries, an aerospace-focused engineering and manufacturing company, seeks an Automation Technician to join its Sedro-Woolley site. You will assist in assembling automated CNC machines, robots, and process control equipment, with on-site responsibilities in Washington state.

The role requires interpreting electrical schematics, CAD drawings, and P&ID diagrams, plus travel 25–40%. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of specialized electronic training.
• Basic understanding of industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Willing to travel 25–40% of the time.
• Able to interpret electrical schematics, P&ID's, CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, commission, fault diagnose, and repair electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Maintain inventory of consumables and repairable components.
• Travel to company and customer facilities as projects demand.
• Be available after hours for diagnostic and repair needs.
• Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and comply with safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
