Job summary

RTX in Jupiter, FL is seeking an Assembly and Test Inspector for the MRO Commercial Engine Center. The role involves using power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine components and ensuring dimensional and visual inspections meet engineering drawings.

This 1st shift (Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm) offers comprehensive benefits, FAA-regulated safety requirements, and opportunities to advance skills through on-site training and certifications in power systems and related equipment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Use a wide variety of power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components.
Perform Dimensional and Visual inspections following standardized methods and established techniques.
Work from applicable written inspection procedures and engineering drawings.
Accepting or referring material for rework or quality review based on findings.
Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments including automated measuring machines.
Follow proper procedures to perform in-line checks and verifications of dimensions.
