Job summary

VACCO Industries in California is seeking an entry-level technician to perform setup and operation of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electromechanical assemblies for Space, Navy and Aircraft applications. You will receive training in assembly and test of production hardware using blueprints and specifications.

The role requires basic reading of blueprints, use of common hand tools, and adherence to safety while testing with gases and fluids, including high-pressure environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of related experience.
• Basic blueprint reading and comprehension required.
• Ability to operate testing equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties under supervision of Lead or Sr. Technician.
• Clean, assemble and test valves and filters following procedures.
• Interpret assembly setup requirements from written procedures.
• Construct test systems from schematics and test components.
• Test components and record data accurately.
• Perform testing with gases and liquids and at extreme temperatures.
• Maintain clean work area and proper test setups.
• Follow safety protocols in high pressure environments.
