Job summary

CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense is seeking a skilled assembler in the United States to perform complex mechanical assembly, align components to close tolerances, and verify conformance to customer specifications. You will work under minimal supervision, with exposure to hydraulics, pneumatics, fluids, and electronic principles, and may perform soldering as needed.

Responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, tear down analyses, rework, and potential Clean Room tasks, ensuring zero-defect

Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Minimum of 1 year experience in practical applications.
Experience with high pressure pneumatics up to 20,000 psi is desired.

Responsibilities

Under minimum supervision, may perform mechanical assembly which is typically highly complex and requires fitting, aligning or adjusting of components and / or assemblies to close tolerance.
Work may require knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, fluids, and / or electronic principals with some soldering expertise.
Will perform testing, troubleshooting, tear down analysis and rework operations.
May also be trained / proficient in Clean Room techniques.
The person in this role must be able to ensure products are assembled with zero defects in accordance with customer requirements.
Customer instructions must be followed unless approval is given to override customer specification due to special circumstances.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for communicating and relating information to leads, management, and other employees within the organization.
