Job summary

VACCO Industries in California seeks an A Level Assembly & Test Technician to perform advanced assembly and testing of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electromechanical products for Space, Navy, Aircraft, and other specialized applications. Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate with at least 5 years in assembly/test operations.
• Alternate: HS diploma with seven years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and test documentation.
• Experience with cryogenic/high-pressure testing and diagnostic work.
• Proficient with MS Office and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform complex assembly and testing of valves, filters, and related components.
• Set up, operate, and maintain advanced test systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, cryogenic).
• Conduct high-pressure and cryogenic testing safely and accurately.
• Calibrate, verify, and maintain test instrumentation and sensors.
• Analyze test data, identify trends, troubleshoot discrepancies, and determine root causes.
• Document test setups and results clearly, including numerical data.
• Recommend and implement corrective actions in assembly or test processes.
• Train and mentor Level B and Level C technicians in proper practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production to resolve issues.
