Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial seeks an Assembly & Test Technician to join our Rocky Mount, NC team on the 2nd shift. You will perform precision assembly and testing on hydro-mechanical fuel controls for aerospace production, using micrometers, dial indicators, depth micrometers, and blueprints.

You will work independently within a high‑performing team, ensuring quality, and may receive on‑the‑job training with opportunities for growth in a cutting‑edge aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems and precision assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and MS Office basics.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly and testing on complex mechanical systems.
• Calibrate and test hydro-mechanical fuel controls for aerospace production.
• Visually inspect parts and document results per procedures.
• Identify defects, troubleshoot, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow quality/work instructions.
