Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Assembly and Test Inspector for its MRO Commercial Engine Center in Jupiter, FL. This is a 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm, Labor Grade 5, on-site role requiring careful dimensional and visual inspections of engine components.

You will use power and mechanical tools, follow engineering drawings, and record results to accept or reject materials. FAA-regulated context and potential safety requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
• A&P License (preferred).
• Experience working from drawings, specs, procedures to configure and test power systems.

Responsibilities

• Use power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections following standardized methods and established techniques.
• Work from inspection procedures and engineering drawings.
• Accepting or rejecting material based on findings and records.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments including automated measuring machines.
• Follow procedures to perform in-line checks and verifications of dimensions.
• May be assigned tasks within scope of job description to develop skills.
