Job summary

Cirrus is seeking a Production Technician in Composites or Assembly to contribute to building aircraft components. You will learn two disciplines within six months and work with hand tools and pneumatic fixtures to ensure parts meet fit and functional requirements.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience, with comfort in a fast-paced team setting and strong tool judgment. Training on blueprints and assembly procedures is part of development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years related experience in manufacturing or aerospace assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints preferred; good tool selection judgment is valued.

Responsibilities

• Install components for fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance within design requirements.
• Manage technician schedule and takt time pace.
• Inspect, build, and install aircraft components per drawings and specs.
• Follow and document aircraft build instructions accurately.
• Wears PPE including respirator; handle adhesives, resins, and sealants as directed.
