Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech seeks an experienced assembler to join our production team. You will assemble mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components to spec, interpret blueprints, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in a diverse manufacturing environment.

Leverage your detail orientation and teamwork to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while supporting training of junior teammates and participating in daily problem-solving activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated understanding of blueprints and technical documentation.
• Ability to operate mechanical and electrical tooling.
• Attention to detail, quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide work center guidance and training of other associates.
• Identify and implement improvements for build processes and layouts.
• Support safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPIs with leadership.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications and BOMs.
• Work with multiple manufacturing disciplines to meet goals.
• Troubleshoot assembly challenges and drive corrective actions.
• Participate in daily problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate to achieve daily production targets in a manufacturing environment.
