Aerotek in Auburn, WA is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead the sheet metal assembly department, with a focus on safety, quality, and throughput. You will direct daily fabrication activities, drive continuous improvement, and manage a high-performing team to meet specifications and customer expectations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of supervisory experience in aerospace assembly, strong leadership, and proficiency with LEAN methods, blueprints, and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in sheet metal assembly.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Familiarity with LEAN methodologies.
• Ability to read basic blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily sheet metal fabrication and assembly activities to meet production schedules.
• Review production orders and schedules to plan department operations.
• Develop and implement training programs for manufacturing personnel.
• Promote cross-training and teamwork across departments.
• Drive continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives to reduce waste.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
