Job summary

Magee Technologies (MTech) in Southern Maryland is seeking an Assembly/Fabrication Technician to assemble, modify, and install aerospace components. You will fabricate, modify, and troubleshoot assemblies using shop tooling in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, performing precision checks, and maintaining documentation, with teamwork across engineering and quality staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in aerospace, manufacturing or technician roles.
• Experience with aerospace hardware assembly, fabrication and installation.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions to assemble products.
• Perform mechanical assembly, fabrication, modification, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct in-process and final quality checks using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools.
• Identify defects and communicate issues to supervisor or quality personnel.
