Job summary

Magee Technologies (MTech) seeks an Assembly/Fabrication Technician to repair, fabricate, assemble and install aerospace hardware and subassemblies from engineering drawings and BOMs. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment using general aerospace shop tooling, performing quality checks, and ensuring on-time delivery while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements include 2+ years in aerospace manufacturing, a High School diploma or GED, U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and aerospace experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in aerospace manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly.
• Experience with precision measuring tools and shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow engineering drawings, BOMs, and instructions for assembly.
• Perform mechanical assembly, fabrication, modification, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Fabricate and modify components using aerospace shop tooling and equipment.
• Operate mills, drill presses, and hand tools safely and accurately.
• Conduct in-process and final quality checks with calipers, gauges, and scales.
• Maintain inventory and documentation; report defects and issues promptly.
• Communicate status and priorities with team and supervisors.
• Follow safety, quality, and regulatory requirements; meet production schedules.
