Job summary

VetJobs is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler in Los Angeles, CA for an on-site role. Eligible candidates must reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles, and be able to work 1:45 PM – 11:45 PM shifts. Export-control rules apply, neccessitating U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in assembly in manufacturing/aerospace/military.
• Minimum 2 years testing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical assemblies.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within Los Angeles area (within 50 miles) only.
• Export-controlled information: must be a U.S. person as defined by law.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for various product lines.
• Perform quality checks and document results with appropriate tooling.
• Organize data and prepare test reports.
• Perform lock wire/safety wire and nameplate processes as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams; follow instructions precisely.
• Cross-train on different hardware/sub-assemblies and support process improvements.
