Ontic Chatsworth in Los Angeles County, CA is seeking a hands-on Assembler to build complex mechanical and electromechanical aerospace products from drawings and work instructions. You'll assemble, install, and test subassemblies and final units onsite in Chatsworth, contributing to high-precision manufacturing.

You'll work with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality teams, perform soldering and wire termination when needed, and advance through varying levels of assembly complexity.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Hands-on mechanical/electromechanical assembly experience with level-appropriate complexity.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints/schematics/work instructions.
• Experience with hand tools, torque and measuring equipment in manufacturing.
• Soldering and/or wire termination experience is valuable.
• Strong attention to detail, safe working, and accurate documentation.
• For advanced roles, aerospace/defense or precision-manufacturing experience and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical products and subassemblies per drawings and instructions.
• Install, align, adjust and fit components with hand tools and torque equipment.
• Perform soldering and wire termination as applicable.
• Support inspection, calibration and functional testing to verify requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot assembly or test issues with cross-functional teams.
• Complete quality and production documentation; help improve processes and tooling.
• Train, coach and share knowledge with less experienced assemblers as needed.
