Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), ideally Engineering.
• This position requires U.S. Citizenship status.
• Fundamental knowledge of mechanics, materials, thermodynamics, and design principles.
• Familiarity with CAD modeling and engineering drawings.
• Experience with manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, additive, brazing, or coatings.

Aufgaben

• Support the design and development of mechanical engine components and hardware for defense applications
• Perform engineering analyses such as stress, tolerance, thermal, vibration, and durability assessments
• Create and update 3D models, drawings, and engineering definitions using CAD tools
• Partner with Systems, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Assembly/Test teams to mature designs into producible hardware
• Assist with root cause investigations, failure analysis, and corrective action development
• Support hardware validation activities including test planning, data review, and design verification
• Contribute to technical reviews, design audits, and program milestones
• Help ensure compliance with internal processes, airworthiness requirements, and customer specifications
• Drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC)
• Document technical work clearly through reports, presentations, and engineering change records
