Job summary

GE Aerospace in OH seeks a Design Engineer for advanced military propulsion components. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• US Government Security Clearance requirement and citizenship for eligibility.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of time.
• Experience with ANSYS and NX Unigraphics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned components and projects for advanced military products using sound engineering principles and basing on requirements.
• Leverage prior mechanical design experience to meet product deliverables within schedule and budget constraints.
• Demonstrate systems-thinking to understand how work integrates with others to achieve product requirements.
• Exhibit autonomy to resolve design challenges within a defined requirements framework.
• Review designs and consult with senior technical leaders for evaluation of work.
• Serve as an interface point within GE Aerospace to internal and external customers.
