GE Aerospace is seeking a Lead Design Engineer in Evendale, OH to own design, analysis, integration, and qualification of hot structural components for advanced military engines. Responsibilities include hardware analysis, test support, publication work, and manufacturing support while managing cost, weight, and schedule.
The role requires a Bachelor's or higher in engineering, 3+ years in mechanical design/analysis, and US citizenship with ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
The Next Generation Products (NGP) organization is responsible for the design, analysis, integration, and support of future military engine products. The NGP Lead Design Engineer owns the design, development, and qualification of advanced military products, specifically hot structural components. The engineer is responsible for executing technical design tasks including hardware analysis, test support, certification/qualification technical publications, and manufacturing support of assigned hardware in addition to program management of hardware cost, weight, and schedule deliverables. This position reports to an engineering manager in Evendale, OH with the opportunity to integrate with various internal and external engineering disciplines.
