Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Principal to lead and innovate in aerospace welding and manufacturing processes. You will drive advanced welding strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and adopt cutting-edge technologies to boost efficiency, quality, and competitiveness across global operations.

The role requires 6+ years of aerospace welding experience, a engineering degree, and deep knowledge of welding technologies and lean manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience (6+ years) in welding of aerospace components.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited technical institution.
• Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, welding process optimization, and lean manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of TIG Welding, Electron beam welding, welding automation.
• Knowledge of AWS D17.1 and AMS2750.
• Familiar with GD&T concepts and symbols.
• Proficient in Excel and data analytics.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a dynamic global environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee advanced welding processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in advanced manufacturing processes.
• Lead cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing operations and enhance productivity.
• Develop and implement weld processes to optimize production and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify and evaluate cutting-edge technologies for adoption in manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in advanced manufacturing.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
