Vast Space Llc. in Long Beach, California is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Technician Supervisor, Manufacturing to lead the second shift and oversee print jobs from setup to post‑processing.

This position reports to manufacturing leadership and offers full‑time, non‑exempt employment. The role requires hands‑on expertise with metal powders, post‑processing equipment, and strict safety and documentation practices, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and cross‑functional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of manufacturing or similar industrial experience.
• Comfortable with hand tools, basic measurement equipment, and following procedures safely.
• 3+ years of experience in additive manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, controlled documentation, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up additive manufacturing print jobs and verify machine settings.
• Safely handle metal powder before and after builds; sieving, loading, de-powdering, measuring, and storage.
• Maintain clean and organized workspace and document results clearly.
• Develop and implement process-efficiency improvements.
• Operate post-processing equipment as required (drills, grinders, CNC).
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot manufacturing hardware.
• Support rapid iteration and cross‑functional collaboration.
