Job summary

Crissair, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting operations, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls across AP, AR, payroll, GL, and close processes.

This role partners with the Controller and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial information and drive process improvements. Responsibilities include overseeing month-end close, implementing efficiency in invoicing, cost accounting for manufacturing, and mentoring staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory or management experience.
• Manufacturing or aerospace industry experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (D365) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
• Monitor transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Supervise AP/AR, payroll, and staff accounting functions.
• Improve invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and cash management.
• Support SOX and GAAP compliance and audits.
• Coordinate manufacturing accounting and cost variances.
• Lead and develop accounting staff, ensuring continuity.
