Job summary

Space Coast Composite Processing in Melbourne, Florida seeks an experienced 3- and 5-axis CNC Machinist with Mastercam expertise. You will program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce aerospace components with tight tolerances.

You will read blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings, using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure quality. The role requires strong problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in a small team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC setup and operation experience.
• 5+ years of Mastercam multi-axis experience.
• Able to commute to Melbourne, FL and work in a high-tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate 3- and 5-axis CNC machines.
• Mastercam programming for 3-axis and multi-axis toolpaths.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and tolerances to manufacture components.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are calibrated for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols; support lean initiatives.
• Assist with other manufacturing processes as needed.
