Job summary

Optomec Inc. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to serve as a key liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing Operations. This role involves managing Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Change Control processes to implement product changes successfully.

The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience and advanced proficiency in SolidWorks. Responsibilities include supporting operations, evaluating designs, and facilitating collaboration between teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks including 3D modeling, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
• Experience with Engineering Change Control processes (ECR/ECO).

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing support activities associated with ECRs and ECOs.
• Work closely with Engineering teams to evaluate and implement design changes.
• Manage change control documentation and coordinate with internal and external partners.
