Job summary

System One in Chester County, PA, is seeking an Aeronautical Engineer to contribute to aircraft development from concept through testing and production. This on-site role offers hands-on opportunities across disciplines.

You will perform aerodynamic analyses, develop models, support CFD and flight dynamics assessments, and collaborate with mechanical, software, avionics, and systems teams to deliver flight-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3–4+ years of professional aerospace engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and aircraft performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerodynamic analysis and optimize aircraft configurations.
• Evaluate aircraft performance, including lift, drag, stability, controllability, and endurance.
• Develop aerodynamic models using computational and simulation tools.
• Support CFD analysis, engineering trade studies, and design recommendations.
• Contribute to aircraft stability, control, and flight dynamics assessments.
• Support aerodynamic testing, system integration, and flight test activities.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, avionics, and systems engineering teams.
